Lancemore Milawa reinterprets the vision of a country estate, where barefoot luxury meets the rugged terrain of regional Australia. In winter, nestled amongst award winning wineries and a backdrop of snow-capped mountains, roaring fires both inside and out, offer comfort and cosiness. The Hotel’s restaurant Merlot is helmed by local Executive Chef Aaron Jose who, with more than 20 years’ culinary experience from award-winning restaurants including the two hatted Momo.

We are currently looking for Handyperson/All-Rounder - Junior who is passionate, hands-on and guest-focused. 

About The Role:

•  Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens & grounds across the property.
•  Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public   areas

• Work a day in the Gardens - Mowing the lawns

• Work a day in Housekeeping – Linen delivery 

• Work in the kitchen – Cleaning and general Kitchen Hand duties

•  Work a day doing Pool Maintenance & Cleaning
•  Opportunity to work in F&B Service, Housekeeping & Public Area Cleaning  
•  Lifting and organizing requirements 

About You:

• Positive and optimistic attitude – "we can do anything" approach.
• Able to work across Departments – No 2 weeks will be the same.
• Ability to understand what the customer sees – and ensure our property is always kept to the highest standard.
• Ability to work across multiple teams, and communicate clearly 
• Drivers License a must! 
• Aged 18-20 - great source of income for a student or someone looking to get a start in a career in hotels/hospitality.
