About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and talented Conference, Weddings and Events attendant to join the team at Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park on a casual basis. Working in our wedding and conferencing team under our exciting new culinary leadership, you will play a role in delivering exceptional Wedding and Events 

Your responsibilities will include-

Wedding and Event Set-Up

• Read an Event order for each event, to see what each event requires 
• Prepare rooms according to event plans (tables, chairs, staging, décor, linen).
• Set out tableware, glassware and menus
• Knowing what each venue requires for setups 

Wedding and Events Food & Beverage

• Set up buffet, Sharing or 3 course Alt, 3 plate carrying 
• Serve drinks if required (tray, table, or bar service if trained, RSA required).
• Assist Supervisor with food service to the tables 
• Assist with guest dietary requirements 
• After each course Clear plates, glasses, and used items promptly.
• Maintain table cleanliness and presentation throughout the event.

Wedding and Event Support

• Assist with ceremony setup (chairs, aisle, signage).
• Help direct bridal party and guests 
• Support timing of key moments (arrival, speeches, cake cutting).
• Learning all the wedding ceremony sites available 
• Assist to make sure events/dinners are ready for guest arrival 
• Buggy rides for Bride, Grooms and elderly guests that may require it. 

Wedding and Event Pack Down

• Clear and reset event spaces to the next event 
• Remove all linen, rubbish, and leftover materials.
• Assist with safe storage of equipment.
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and discreet presence.
• May require late nights 

Conference Support

• Conference rooms to be set as required on event order with Notepads, Pens and glasses. 
• Assist with daily conferences
• refresh of rooms at break times
• set up food stations for daily breaks
• Set up/Pack down Coffee machines 
• Room refreshes/resets 

Conference Pack down 

• Conference rooms will be refreshed if they are returning the next day
• Conference rooms will be reset with new notepads, pens and glasses if another group is arriving
• Breaks area will be restocked/cleaned after each day 
• Remove all linen, rubbish, and leftover materials.
• Coffee machines will be cleaned and turned off for the next day 
• Servery to be left clean and tidy after each shift 

Guest Service

• Greet guests and provide directions.
• Respond politely to requests and escalate issues when needed.
• Monitor lighting, temperature, and noise and report concerns

Compliance & Presentation

• Follow WHS and food safety procedures, including correct manual handling.
• Wear the correct uniform and maintain grooming standards in line with the Lancemore Way.
