An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Director of Sales to lead the sales strategy for Lancemore Hill at Macedon Ranges—a 72-room boutique property purpose-built for corporate retreats, conferences, and events.
Surrounded by rolling hills and natural bushland just over an hour from Melbourne, this property combines nature, comfort, and connection—making it a top choice for business events and team experiences. With its dedicated conference facilities, adaptable spaces, and boutique accommodation, it offers a compelling product to take to market.
About the Role
Balancing your time between the property and our Melbourne Head Office, you’ll be responsible for:
Driving Sales & Growth: Generate leads, secure new business, and deliver against revenue targets
Building Key Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client connections across corporate, MICE, and agency markets
Marketing & Promotion: Contribute to campaigns, attend industry events, and conduct site inspections and famils
Sales Negotiation & Conversion: Craft proposals, negotiate contracts, and convert opportunities
Performance & Reporting: Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and refine strategies to optimise results
About You
Proven experience in a Director of Sales, or Sales Management role (MICE/hospitality experience essential)
Established networks across Melbourne’s corporate and conference markets
Results-focused with a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs
Skilled negotiator with strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
Excellent relationship management and client service skills
Strong communication—written, verbal, and interpersonal
Motivated and proactive, with a positive, team-first approach
Passion for boutique hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
