Lancemore Crossley St Hotel is located at the top-end of Little Bourke St and is a one-of-a-kind theatre-inspired, design-lead Hotel in the heart of the Theatre District.  Refurbished in 2020, the Hotel features 112 art filled rooms that have been inspired by our surrounds, a stunning rooftop terrace and an inviting lobby bar. 

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our small and dedicated leadership team at the property.  We are looking for someone who will show care and commitment to the maintaining of our spectacular hotel.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Responsible for carrying out repairs and maintaining a proactive preventative maintenance program throughout the property. Repairs will include basic carpentry and plumbing, fixtures and fittings (adjusting, replacing) and painting
• Liaise with the Front Office & Housekeeping team to log and complete maintenance tasks related to accommodation rooms and Hotel public areas.
• Build a strong and collaborative relationship with all stakeholders in the business, including guests and team members
• Ensure cost control measures are implemented and all administration duties are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure company standards, systems and procedures are being implemented and maintained

ABOUT YOU:

• Positive and optimistic attitude – "we can do anything" approach
• Experience with fixing day to day things – lights, taps, painting etc.
• Logical approach to problem solving
• Ability to understand what the customer sees – and ensure our property is always kept to the highest standard
• Ability to work with teams, and communicate clearly and in time
• Knowledge and experience working with plant & equipment (boiler, chiller)
• Knowledge of a trade beneficial
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice highly regarded
• Flexible work hours - in line with business demands
• Strong communication skills
