We are currently looking for a talented Group MICE Business Development Manager for the Lancemore Group's Head Office. The role has a strong emphasis on the MICE market. 

 

Based at the Lancemore Group's Head Office, this is an amazing and rare opportunity for an experienced and passionate BDM. The successful applicant will have previous experience driving sales, sourcing new clients, maintain existing relationships, maximising sales and increase occupancy through networking, promotions and marketing.  

 

About You: 

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in Sales Management role, with strong exposure to MICE Sales
  • Have an established network
  • Strong leadership and sales conversion skills, able to negotiate commercial outcomes and hungry to secure new business
  • Passion for managing and maintaining key accounts
  • Resilient financial acumen in all sales objective including forecast, budgets etc.
  • Team player, great personality and passion for boutique hotels and the service that matches the quality of our product
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a dash of charm
  • Success in selling via lead generation and cold calling
  • Experienced, successful and passionate about meeting sales targets and KPI's
  • Conduct familiarisation and site inspections with new and existing clients
  • You will have a 'can do' attitude and understand what it takes to achieve the best results and provide an unforgettable experience for their clientele.
  • Outstanding organisation skills with the ability to work with and manage multiple clients and their details simultaneously
  • Ability to work successfully within a close team environment and work unsupervised at times
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • Well-developed computer knowledge and strong administration skills
  • You have a warm, personable yet professional disposition
  • Ability to think quickly on your feet
