We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Rooms Division Manager to oversee the daily operations of our stunning boutique hotel on a 12-month fixed term arrangement.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will champion exceptional guest experiences, lead operational teams, and ensure the successful delivery of financial and service performance targets.
About the Role
As Rooms Division Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage all operational departments including Front Office,
Housekeeping, and Maintenance to consistently deliver an exceptional
guest experience.
Oversee Front Office and day-to-day service delivery, ensuring all standards,
policies, and procedures are maintained.
Monitor and manage reservations, rates, and packages through the Property
Management System (PMS).
Coach and develop team members through structured inductions, ongoing
training, performance feedback, and thoughtful delegation.
Manage rosters across a 7-day, 24-hour operation, ensuring optimal staffing
for day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
Respond to guest feedback with professionalism, resolving issues promptly
and thoughtfully.
Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and
licensing standards.
Drive key performance metrics including occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR
through operational excellence and proactive guest engagement.
About You
You will bring:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent to with demonstrated leadership experience in hotel operations and management
- A proven ability to lead, inspire, and empower teams within a high-service environment.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including past success in achieving revenue goals.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to perform under pressure, adapt quickly, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
