ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Basic and varied Kitchen Duties and General Cleaning.
• Ensuring food preparation areas, dish washing areas, food storage areas and waste disposal areas are clean, organised and hygienic.

ABOUT YOU:

• Experience in a similar role in a restaurant or functions venue will be highly regarded but not essential
• An understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
• Availability to participate in a 7 day working roster of days, nights and weekends
• Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision/direction to complete assigned tasks
• Initiative and be a team player
• Good personal presentation
• Self-motivation, can-do attitude
