General Manager
Lancemore Macedon Ranges

Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Victoria's Macedon Ranges, Lancemore Macedon Ranges is a premier boutique hotel renowned for its exceptional conference and event facilities. Set on 274 acres of rolling hills, vineyards, and natural bushland, our property offers 72 modern guest rooms, an elegant restaurant, an infinity pool, and six flexible event spaces. We pride ourselves on delivering unparalleled experiences to our guests, whether they're here for corporate retreats, weddings, or special events.

 

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished General Manager to lead our dedicated team.  You will have a strong background in driving sales performance and  in managing conference-focused hotels and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the property's operations, including guest services, food and beverage, events, and financial performance.

  • Create Unforgettable Experiences: Oversee seamless event execution, ensuring every conference and retreat runs flawlessly from start to finish.

  • Drive Business Growth: Develop innovative strategies to attract corporate clients, boost occupancy, and maximize revenue.

  • Champion Financial Success: Manage budgets, optimize costs, and implement strategies that enhance profitability while maintaining quality.

  • Foster a High-Performing Team: Mentor, inspire, and build a motivated team that thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.

  • Enhance Guest Satisfaction: Implement best-in-class service standards and respond to feedback with proactive solutions.

  • Strengthen Community & Industry Relationships: Engage with corporate partners, event planners, and local businesses to elevate the hotel's profile.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee all facets of hotel operations, from housekeeping to F&B, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.

 

About You:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role within the hospitality industry

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on professional development and high performance.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization.

  • Guest-Centric: A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and the ability to instill this ethos across the team.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable managing a property in a regional setting, with an understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges this presents.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with guests, team, and stakeholders.
