Hotel Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage

Located in the heart of Victoria’s High Country is Lancemore Milawa, a tranquil country house hotel brimming with elegance and style the perfect base to experience a rich bounty of world class food and wine, Australian history and breathtaking landscapes. 

 

We are currently looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager - Food & Beverage who is a passionate, hands-on, guests focused and results driven leader with strong Food and Beverage management experience to manage the Food and Beverage Department.  

 

About You: 

  • Minimum 3-year previous experience as a leader in a similar environment.
  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction with enthusiasm.
  • Capable leader with sound knowledge and understanding on how to deliver successful F&B related coaching and training.
  • Confident in all areas of restaurant and banquet service
  • Complete confidence and understanding of labour, rostering and beverage control KPI's.
  • Be able to work autonomously, our team is close knit but we want you to lead, not follow.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, confidence counts.
  • RSA compliance and understanding to effectively manage and monitor responsible serving.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office programs, including Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Experience in managing weddings and events is essential
  • Capable of working with the chefs to creating upsells and special experiences for our guests
  • Able to work evenings, weekends & public holidays 
  • Experience in Rooms Division or Operations is highly regarded
