Lancemore Hotel Group is seeking an accomplished Group Director of Finance to lead our finance function. As a key member of the Executive team and reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact role suited to a high-performing leader who shares our drive and commitment to continue delivering excellence in all that we do.

• Strategically important role reporting into the CEO, a member of the Executive Committee and an important player in shaping how the organisation is run
• Manage all financial and management accounting as well as cash flow management for the group
• Lead/Partner with General Managers to achieve excellent financial control across the Hotel Group 
• Lead a team of seven employees to work in a high performance, engaged workplace environment 
• Monitor and improve systems, policies and procedures across all elements of financial and operational control budgeting, forecasting, EOM reporting etc.
• Be prepared to have a hands-on approach in the processing of daily, weekly, monthly financial reporting and compliance
• Cultivate strong working relationships with JV partners, owners, key suppliers including banking, insurance, tax accounting, utilities, major contracts etc.
• Assist with strategic direction of the business and Hotels as a key member of the Executive team
• Manage assets via building maintenance, best use assessment and capital expenditure
• Help manage acquisition, handover, new opening and refurbishment projects

• Experienced senior Finance practitioner, preferably with regional, Executive or multi-property experience
• Have a history of success in previous roles
• Strong leadership experience and the ability to build rapport with all members of the organisation 
• Have a desire to constantly learn and develop yourself and others to help lead the organisation to excellence
• Have the ability to build on our strong foundation and take it to the next level through the execution of innovative ideas
  
• Skilled in influencing others and navigating difficult conversations around financial matters
• Have strong organisational, task-management and problem resolution skills
• Possess strong computer skills, especially in MS Excel. Payroll system experience is highly desirable
• Be CA or CPA qualified and current

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to drive the kitchen’s daily operations. This is a leadership position within the restaurant and hotel.

Key responsibilities include

· Kitchen Leadership: Assist in the day-to-day management of the kitchen, including running the pass, organizing prep, and managing staff rosters. You will lead the brigade in the absence of the Head Chef.

Merlot Restaurant is now looking for an Executive Chef to lead, motivate and work hands on with the team ensuring consistent high quality and memorable food experience for all our guests.

About the role.

• Development and design seasonal menus that balance creativity and practicality and deliver high quality impressive options
• Managing food costs through effective menu engineering, stock & waste management
• Collaborate with local and trusted suppliers to source the finest ingredients
• Continue to grow you team through ongoing coaching and development
• Maintain a positive and supportive work culture within your team, and with other hotel departments
• Effectively manage the kitchen rostering and labour costs

About you.

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role
• Strong leadership skills, the ability to manage, mentor and motivate a small team
• A passion for quality produce and a creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine
• Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certifications

We are currently looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager - Food & Beverage who is a passionate, hands-on, guests focused and results driven leader with strong Food and Beverage management experience to manage the Food and Beverage Department.  

About You: 

• Minimum 3-year previous experience as a leader in a similar environment.
• Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction with enthusiasm.
• Capable leader with sound knowledge and understanding on how to deliver successful F&B related coaching and training.
• Confident in all areas of restaurant and banquet service
• Complete confidence and understanding of labour, rostering and beverage control KPI's.
• Be able to work autonomously, our team is close knit but we want you to lead, not follow.
• Excellent time management and communication skills, confidence counts.
• RSA compliance and understanding to effectively manage and monitor responsible serving.
• Familiar with Microsoft office programs, including Word, Excel & Outlook
• Experience in managing weddings and events is essential
• Capable of working with the chefs to creating upsells and special experiences for our guests
• Able to work evenings, weekends & public holidays 
• Experience in Rooms Division or Operations is highly regarded
