Lancemore Hotel Group is seeking an accomplished Group Director of Finance to lead our finance function. As a key member of the Executive team and reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact role suited to a high-performing leader who shares our drive and commitment to continue delivering excellence in all that we do.

• Strategically important role reporting into the CEO, a member of the Executive Committee and an important player in shaping how the organisation is run
• Manage all financial and management accounting as well as cash flow management for the group
• Lead/Partner with General Managers to achieve excellent financial control across the Hotel Group 
• Lead a team of seven employees to work in a high performance, engaged workplace environment 
• Monitor and improve systems, policies and procedures across all elements of financial and operational control budgeting, forecasting, EOM reporting etc.
• Be prepared to have a hands-on approach in the processing of daily, weekly, monthly financial reporting and compliance
• Cultivate strong working relationships with JV partners, owners, key suppliers including banking, insurance, tax accounting, utilities, major contracts etc.
• Assist with strategic direction of the business and Hotels as a key member of the Executive team
• Manage assets via building maintenance, best use assessment and capital expenditure
• Help manage acquisition, handover, new opening and refurbishment projects

• Experienced senior Finance practitioner, preferably with regional, Executive or multi-property experience
• Have a history of success in previous roles
• Strong leadership experience and the ability to build rapport with all members of the organisation 
• Have a desire to constantly learn and develop yourself and others to help lead the organisation to excellence
• Have the ability to build on our strong foundation and take it to the next level through the execution of innovative ideas
  
• Skilled in influencing others and navigating difficult conversations around financial matters
• Have strong organisational, task-management and problem resolution skills
• Possess strong computer skills, especially in MS Excel. Payroll system experience is highly desirable
• Be CA or CPA qualified and current

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished General Manager to lead our dedicated team.  You will have a strong background in driving sales performance and in managing conference-focused hotels and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the property's operations, including guest services, food and beverage, wedding & events, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations across Rooms, Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage, Events and Maintenance, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences and consistent delivery of brand standards while managing critical incidents and after-hours matters.  (not the vineyard and winery is managed via corporate office).

• Drive commercial performance through strategic revenue, sales and marketing initiatives, maximising Net RevPAR, profitability, market share and overall business outcomes.

• Manage budgets, forecasting, financial reporting and cost-control measures, ensuring labour efficiency, effective debtor management and strong operational performance.

• Lead, coaches and develops high-performing teams through recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning and talent development, while fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to drive the kitchen’s daily operations. This is a leadership position within the restaurant and hotel.

We need a chef who is not only a talented cook, and a passionate hospitality professional but an operational manager capable of running the pass, controlling costs, training and inspiring the team.

You will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of Josephs restaurant.

Key responsibilities include

· Kitchen Leadership: Assist in the day-to-day management of the kitchen, including running the pass, organizing prep, and managing staff rosters. You will lead the brigade in the absence of the Head Chef.

· Service Excellence: Drive the flow of service during high-pressure peaks, ensuring communication between the kitchen and floor is seamless and professional.

· Mentoring & Development: Actively train, supervise, and mentor Senior CDPs, Commis Chefs, and Apprentices. You will be responsible for upholding kitchen culture and ensuring recipes and plating guides are strictly followed.

· Financial Control: Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships. You will play a key role in monitoring food costs (COGS), minimizing waste, and conducting accurate stock takes.

· Quality & Compliance: Ensure every dish leaving the pass meets Gilson’s exacting standards. Oversee kitchen hygiene, food safety plans, and OH&S compliance.

Skills & Experience

· Experience: Minimum 1+ years in a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef role preferably in high level restaurant environments

· Technical Expertise: Exceptional knowledge of a broad spectrum of cooking techniques and cuisines

· Leadership: Proven ability to run a busy pass, manage a team, and resolve issues under pressure.

· Financial Acumen: Understanding of food cost targets, labor control, and stock management.
